This unit, from the very first production run by Fujigen in the latter half of 1983, boasts an extremely luxurious specification, featuring the legendary, top-of-the-line "DRY" pickup, which is still highly regarded as a component even today, as standard equipment. While its more common younger sibling model, the JS-55, uses Screamin' pickups, the JS-65 is designed to maximize the rich tone of the "DRY," and further incorporates a unique "variable coil tap," allowing you to mix the sharp nuances of a single-coil while maintaining the thick structure of a humbucker! This is a supreme instrument that combines practicality and rarity, bringing back the passion of that era the moment you hold it in your hands!
