Product overview We have received the 'DUKE-STANDARD', one of the earliest models in Bacchus's top-of-the-line "Handmade Series"! The most remarkable feature of this instrument is the use of Brazilian rosewood (Jacaranda) for the fingerboard, a material only employed in the extremely limited production run in 2001, shortly after the launch of the Handmade Series. This luxurious specification, virtually impossible to find in current models, is a privilege reserved only for the earliest models. The extremely hard yet resilient response characteristic of Jacaranda, combined with a high-quality mahogany body, produces rich harmonics and overwhelming sustain. With Deviser's proud "ultra-thin lacquer finish" and assembly precision that eliminates all compromise, it transcends being merely a copy model and possesses the style of a complete instrument. This is a historically valuable instrument where materials and technology have miraculously fused in a way that can never be reproduced again.
