Product overview The DMP861C, a model from the 800 series equipped with a DMP preamp that gained popularity thanks to being used by a national icon, has arrived! While the current lineup includes the TDP861C, which has a TDP preamp, the DMP861C remains highly popular, so much so that custom-order models have appeared that recreate the DMP861C by specifically changing the preamp to DMP. With a solid spruce top, solid sapele back and sides, a round-shouldered and cutaway body, and a 628mm scale length, this guitar is like a J-45 style guitar adapted to Takamine style. Its powerful sound is a hallmark of the J-45!
