The 2020 Winter NAMM Show model, MARTIN "D-X1E-04" is now in stock! This model is a successor to the early model ``DXM'' that was released in 1998 with the aim of protecting the environment, and is made from a special plywood called High Pressure Laminate (HPL), which is made by pressing wood fibers using a special compression method. It is stronger than regular wood, so it's durable and can be easily taken outside! The laminate has a mahogany pattern look, giving it a professional look! There are some slight scratches, but it looks relatively clean. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck curvature has been adjusted with the rod. It is close to straight, but if judged strictly, when the treble strings are adjusted to be straight, the bass strings are slightly bowed forward. There is no particular problem with playing. There is still plenty of fret height, so it does not interfere with playing. *We take photos with priority given to items with noticeable damage.
