Detailed explanation	Made in 1981 We have received a vintage Rickenbacker standard model "4003," the epitome of rock bass! The 4003 model became a modern-style Rickenbacker by improving the truss rod and increasing the gain of the pickup, which were the drawbacks of the 4001. The Rickenbacker's hard, crisp rear sound, sweeter-than-imagined front sound, and unique looks have made it a favorite among musicians both domestically and internationally, and has established itself as an icon of rock bass. Now that you have the sound loved by rock musicians of the past, just start strumming away without worrying about the details! *It has been refinished, changing from fireglo to black. There are noticeable scratches and dents all over the product. The included case shows signs of wear appropriate for its age. There is a crack in the paint on the fingerboard. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck warp has been adjusted with a rod. There are some small wavy and twisted areas, but it is still straight considering its age. The frets have been worn down, which has caused the frets to become slightly shorter overall. However, there is still plenty of fret height, and it does not interfere with playing.
