Mr. Yamamoto is well known mainly in the field of acoustic guitars, and he invented the "hollow structure" by carving a slit inside the body, inspired by the idea of a Japanese drum, and carving a body completely from a solid piece. Since he does not use heat or bending processes that put a strain on the wood, he has been able to create very elaborate guitars that allow you to enjoy the natural sound of the wood and are also durable.
