Product overview The RLC, a Les Paul Custom type guitar, was part of the lineup from the 80s to the 90s and was even reintroduced to the FERNANDES lineup towards the end of their production run. In the 80s, it was listed as the RLC-60'60 MODEL, and in '89, the headstock inlay became the same as this instrument's. In '90, it was refined as the RLC-65'60 MODEL with changed pickups. In '91, it was renamed the RLC-70'60 MODEL, but it disappeared from the catalog in '93. With an all-mahogany body and mahogany top, this is a guitar full of character that cannot be found in a simple Les Paul copy. Even at this price point, the over-fret binding and vintage inspired 17-degree headstock angle are a testament to Fernandes' attention to detail and high level of technical skill. Before production moved to China, this masterpiece, imbued with the spirit of Japanese craftsmanship, is definitely worth trying!
