Product overview The Yamaha SG series is a legendary instrument that has captivated famous artists both in Japan and abroad and has fans worldwide. After numerous improvements and model changes, the SG175 debuted in 1974. The SG-2000, developed in collaboration with Carlos Santana and Yamaha, was released in 1976. That same year, the SG series expanded its lineup to include four grades, from the SG-500 to the SG-2000. The SG1000, the second grade, features a direct circuit in addition to a bi-sound switch. Detailed explanation	There are slight scratches, small dents, dullness/rust on metal parts, and cloudy paint. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod. There are some small wavy or twisted areas throughout the neck, but it is still fairly straight considering its age. There are no particular issues with playing it. There is a slight amount of wear on the frets, but there is still enough left that it does not interfere with playing.
