Product overview This is the signature model of Kaoru, the guitarist of the visual kei band DIR EN GREY, which has gained immense popularity both in Japan and overseas, and was manufactured in 2019! It is a 7-string model from the D-KV series, which is based on the ESP VIPER, and is the Edwards version of the ESP D-KV-7ST that has been used since Wacken Open Air in August 2011. The distinctive Purple Sparkle Skull design has been perfectly reproduced! There are no compromises in terms of specifications either, and it is equipped with EMG 707 pickups, GOTOH tuners, and a 666mm super long scale, making it almost identical in finish to the original ESP version despite being an Edwards version!
