Product overview Manufactured in 1983, this extremely rare Seymour Duncan ST-type guitar comes from the "Yubi Onkyo" era, a period that supported the dawn of Japanese component guitars in the early 1980s, before ESP transitioned to full-scale mass production. Based on a white ash body strongly reminiscent of the 1954 Stratocaster specifications, it features a special specification with a luxurious jet-black ebony fingerboard, characteristic of that era. The back of the neck displays a beautiful figured grain, and instead of the neck shape unique to '54, it has an exquisite grip suited to modern playability! It is equipped with a sweet and mild APS-1 in the front position and SSL-1s boasting superb vintage tones in the middle and rear positions. Furthermore, it has been customized with a 5-way super switch, allowing for instant selection of a "front + rear" mixed sound in addition to the usual half-tones, making it a masterpiece boasting amazing sonic rationality and high practicality. *The center + rear mix is no longer selectable.
