Alder body, one-piece maple neck, one-piece pickguard, small head...the pickups also appear to be VS-2, and at first glance the specifications are similar to the Revival Series' '57 model, the RST-50 '57 MODEL, but the F key pegs are made by Fernandes instead of the Kluson type, and the selector instead of the 5-way is a 3-way. Since this is not an official Revival series, the head decal does not say "THE REVIVAL" but "LIMITED EDITION", which was also featured on other models at the time. The details are unknown as to whether it was made as an original model for the music store at the time, or if it was made irregularly in some way, but this is an instrument that will surely tickle the fancy of any enthusiast. A pot with a different design is used for the front tone, but there are no signs of it having been reattached, so we have determined that it is genuine. Although there are some slight scratches, there is little damage considering the model year and it looks relatively clean. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod. There are some small wavy or twisted areas, but it is still in a straight condition considering its age. The frets have been filed down to improve playability.
