Hide, who liked the 1959 Les Paul owned by PATA, acquired the same Les Paul himself and created the Mockingbird by incorporating its specs. This unit is the ``MG-130S'', an advanced model in the MG-85X lineup equipped with a sustainer, and is equivalent to the current ``MG-165S''. Due to a change in specifications, orders have been suspended, so it is now almost impossible to get hold of this product! Be sure to get yours now! The wire that holds the bridge saddle in place has been replaced and is slightly prone to coming off. There are noticeable scratches and dents, signs of use, and dullness/rust on the metal parts. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck curvature has been adjusted with the rod, and although it is close to being straight, if judged strictly, when the bass strings are adjusted to be straight, the treble strings are slightly bowed forward. There is a high rise (a little rise from the joint). There is no particular problem with playing. There is a slight wear on the frets, but there is still enough left and it does not interfere with playing.
