FERNANDES Les Paul model, RLG model with the "Super Grade" logo! We have a rare item in stock that is made by FERNANDES but does not have the "BURNY" logo, and appears to be an overseas export item! I guess it was manufactured in the 80's to 90's. It has the same specifications as the RLG-50 from the 1980s and the RLG-70 from the 1990s, and is an LP model with professional specifications such as a two-piece mahogany body, mahogany set neck, plain top, and fret edge binding. Another feature common to products for overseas markets is the "MADE IN JAPAN" sticker on the back of the head. This is a rare guitar that will feel strange to those who know it. There are some slight scratches and small dents, but considering the model year, there is little damage and it looks relatively clean. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck curvature has been adjusted with the rod. It is close to straight, but if judged strictly, when the treble strings are adjusted to be straight, the bass strings are slightly bowed forward. This is somewhat covered by the settings, but depending on your playing style, you may feel some buzzing. The frets are generally worn, but it does not interfere with playing.
