Made in 2014 The American Deluxe, also known as the American Standard, was released as a higher-end model and was in the lineup from 1998 until it was replaced by the American Elite in 2016. We have a new Jazz Bass in stock that has been highly customized by the previous owner. Nut, block inlay, pickups, pickguard, and bridge have been replaced. The 4-string pegs have been replaced with Hipshots, and the controls are from the top: master volume, PU balancer, treble & bass, middle & passive tone, and a mini switch for switching between active and passive. There are scratches, dents, and signs of use throughout. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod and is now almost straight. There is still plenty of fret height, so it is not particularly difficult to play.
