The FERNANDES V-shaped model "BSV" from the 80's, famous for being a model for a Japanese metal guitarist! The mid-class "BSV-70" has arrived! It is equipped with a newly developed "HEAD CRUSHER" bridge based on the Floyd Rose bridge, for which FERNANDES was the distributor at the time. Although there is no marking, it is equipped with the FRT-6, which has a mechanism that allows you to change strings without cutting the ball end. The combination of Dog Fighter pickups and FRT-6 bridge can be seen in the 1985 catalog, so it is believed to have been manufactured in the mid-1980s. With its small body and short 24-inch scale, it is clear that the design is suited to Japanese physiques. This is a version for metal, labeled in the catalog as the "HEAVY METAL VERSION." There are scratches, dents, signs of use, dullness/rust, and discoloration on the metal parts. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck warp has been adjusted with a rod. There are some small wavy and twisted parts, but it is in a condition that does not affect playability. There is a slight reduction in the frets, but there is still enough left that it does not interfere with playability.
