The flagship model at the time of its release, the BB-2000, is now in stock! This was the top-of-the-line model that was most prominently featured in the catalog at the time, and was a combination of the BB1200, a second-class model at the time, and a bar pickup developed for the BB-2000. The heavy body has a through-neck design, a highly stable die-cast bridge and pegs, and is full of impeccable Japanese-made Yamaha quality! In addition to the powerful sound that is unique to BB, the combination of the rear and front produces a wide range of musicality, which is just as described in the catalogue as having a "professional feel." This is a bass that lets you experience Yamaha's true talent. There are noticeable scratches and dents throughout. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck warp has been adjusted with the rod, but there is some waviness overall. It has been covered to some extent by the settings, but it is recommended for those who enjoy the slight buzzing as part of the character.
