A reissue of Epiphone's earliest classic, the Wilshire, which is an essential piece in the history of solid-state guitars! The Wilshire gives the impression of being similar to the Gibson SG, but it was designed to compete with the Stratocaster and features a double cutaway. Since the original Wilshire was designed before the Gibson SG, this design was cutting edge at the time. The pickups have been changed from the original mini humbuckers to regular humbuckers, making this guitar suited to the needs of modern music. Although there are some slight scratches, there is almost no noticeable damage and it looks relatively clean. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod and is now almost straight. There is still plenty of fret height, so it is not particularly difficult to play.
