Made in 2021 We have just received the 64 Jazz Bass from Fender Custom Shop, the renowned pinnacle of guitars. The classic wood materials are an alder body and a maple neck with a rounded rosewood fingerboard. The pickups are hand-wound "HW VINT J-BASS". This guitar comes in the increasingly rare Fiesta Red color and is finished with a "Journeyman Relic" finish, which suggests that it has been carefully maintained compared to a regular relic, making it worthy of being called the pinnacle of both looks and sound. Due to the relic processing, the overall usability is unknown. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod and is now almost straight. There is still plenty of fret height, so it is not particularly difficult to play.
