The "F-II B", the base model of the "F" series, which was Kawai's signature model along with the "Moonsault" in the 1980s, has arrived! The unique rounded body is reminiscent of BCRICH's Eagle, but features a through-neck structure made of maple and mahogany. There was also a special model that used Exotic Wood for the body top, which had a list price 10,000 yen higher. Equipped with a pickup with built-in preamp, a 4-way PU selector with standby, and a 3-position preset switch, it allows for a wide variety of sounds with low noise! This high quality Japan vintage bass has the potential to be used in modern music with its seamless bass sound. There are slight scratches, signs of use, and dullness/rust on the metal parts, but there is little damage considering the model year and it looks relatively clean. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with the rod, but it is slightly raised (raised from the joint). There is no problem with playing it. The frets are slightly worn down from pressing the strings, especially in the low positions of the 1st to 3rd strings, but there is still plenty of wear left and it does not interfere with playing.
