Detailed explanation |
Made in 2014. To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Stratocaster, an anniversary model produced in limited of 60 units in 2014 has arrived! This was also the last limited edition model from the old Fender Japan era. It bears the name "VSP (vintage Original Spec)" given only to the highest-end models of Fender Japan's final period, and its greatest feature is that it uses "Madagascar Rosewood" for the fingerboard, which is probably the only one of its kind in a Fender Japan Stratocaster! And instead of the usual lacquer top paint finish used on VSP models, an extremely thin poly paint finish is used. It is a hybrid coating that combines the acoustic properties of lacquer with the durability of poly. Other features include a two-piece alder body, USA-spec assembly, and an original hard case. Although there are some slight scratches, there is almost no noticeable damage and it looks relatively clean. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod and is now almost straight. There is still plenty of fret height, so it is not particularly difficult to play. [Weight] Approx. 3.65kg *We take photos with priority given to items with noticeable damage. Please understand that due to limitations on the number of images, there may be scratches or damage that cannot be captured in the photos. *The contents listed are based on the time of inspection before the product is posted. |
