This is a Japanese-made soloist model from the time when it was sold as JACKSON STARS, instead of GROVER JACKSON! There is little information available about the 7-string model, and it is hardly featured in catalogs, but this instrument has the serial number on the neck end, the tuning pegs have the GROVER JACKSON logo, and the pickup sticker suggests it is an early Seymour Duncan SH-2N/SH-5, probably from around 2000 when it was replaced by the JACKSON STARS. The fingerboard is rosewood, but the through-neck construction makes it seem like a mid-range or higher guitar. It's a high-grade 7-string that offers excellent playability with jumbo frets and a through-neck, and a solid sound thanks to the Seymour Duncan pickups. Overall scratches and dents The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions.
