Product overview Orville by Gibson was born in 1991 as a Gibson-approved Japanese-made Gibson guitar. A rare left-handed model has arrived! The Orville by Gibson brand, which began in 1988, initially offered a selection of Japanese-made models equipped with Gibson pickups, but in the 1990s, a cheaper model with only the "Orville" logo and equipped with Japanese-made pickups was born, and the "Orville by Gibson" logo items were gradually reduced and discontinued in the late 1990s. This is a Les Paul Custom model with a Gibson pickup and the "Orville by Gibson" logo, and is a rare left-handed model. There are not many of these in circulation.
