The domestically produced Mustang "JMG-6R" by Fujigen, a long-established Japanese manufacturer, has arrived! The Mustang uses a TOM type bridge to improve tuning stability. This instrument has been heavily modified, with the rear pickup being a Seymour Duncan SH-4 (JBJ seal, Made In America stamped), the neck pickup being a DiMarzio DP402 (probably an older model), the pots being CTS, the capacitors being Orange Drop, and the jack being replaced with a Switchcraft one. The body appears to have been pre-grooved for humbuckers, with only the pickguard modified to fit the humbuckers. This guitar retains the high stability of domestically produced Fujigen guitars, such as the circle fretting system, and is designed to produce a high-grade rock sound! There are scratches and dents throughout, and dullness/rust on the metal parts. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod and is now almost straight.
