Product overview Following the 1987 JV serial and SQ serial (Squier), we have an E serial Telecaster in stock, which is proof of the early days of Fender Japan! While the 52 and 62 models were the main lineup, this is a rare Telecaster that follows the 72 model. Both the neck and body are stamped with the CTM-50 Squier model, one of the earliest models from the launch of Fender Japan, so it is assumed that the body and neck are manufactured even earlier. At the time, Fender Japan was started as a way to "eliminate copy models" and "make a cheap model of the original Fender," but it is well known that Fujigen's superb assembly and craftsmanship have resulted in a very high quality guitar. It is no wonder that this is especially popular overseas among Japanese vintages. Please try out vintage Fender Japan, which is now said to be a "legend"!
