Product overview The FR series is Fernandes' long-selling model. We have the FR-85S from the late 90s in stock! It has an ash body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, HSH style PU including sustainer, and Floyd-type tremolo FRT-10. A major feature is the Quadro System, with active FGI pickups in the front and center, and a passive humbucker in the rear, which can be used simultaneously! It has a rare specification that achieves both a noiseless single sound and a powerful humbucker sound at the same time. Furthermore, by combining it with a full-mode sustainer, it boasts an infinite level of sound variation! It is a guitar with a finish that shows the passion of Fernandes, back when it was still made in Japan.

The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck curvature has been adjusted with the rod and is almost straight. It has been covered to some extent by the settings, but depending on your playing style, you may feel some vibration. There is still plenty of fret height, so it is not particularly difficult to play.
