Product overview The 1986 Ibanez Axstar guitar was introduced in 1985 but disappeared within two years. When it was released in 1985, it featured a unique, irregular guitar shape. The following year, in 1986, it suddenly became a headless model, and then disappeared the following year. The Axstar series was extremely short-lived and unfortunate. This headless model was only available in the 1986 catalog, and the lineup consisted of only the AX75 and the AX70 with a two-humbucker pickup. Manufactured by Chushin Musical Instruments, this model features an alder body, 24 frets, an ebony fingerboard, and HSS active pickups. Completely different from the current headless EHB, this is a historic and innovative Ibanez headless guitar.

The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod, but the 6th string is slightly raised (raising from the joint).
