Product overview We have a rare guitar, nicknamed the "Daruma," from Yamaha's transitional period with the SG! The Yamaha SG was born in 1967 as a bizarre group sounds guitar, and took on its current form in 1973. The "Daruma" was featured in the lineup only between 1972 and 1973. There were two models: the "SG-40" with a slanted neck pickup and the Les Paul-style "SG-45," each of which had its own premium and top-of-the-line model. The "SG-65" is a premium version of the "SG-45," featuring a nato wood neck and body. This grade was the only one to feature the rounded rectangular fingerboard inlay. In Japan, it attracted attention when a masked rock band guitarist used it in the 2000s, becoming a highly sought-after guitar. Combined with the Japanese vintage boom, this guitar is now rare!
