Product overview This Squier with the JV serial number is a testament to the early days of Fender Japan! Many people may think that Squier was a lower-end Fender model, but during this era, Fender Japan only allowed traditional models to carry the Fender logo. Guitars with ambitious specifications like medium scale, humbucker models, and end locks were released under the Squier name, along with more affordable models. The top-of-the-line ST952 had a list price of ¥95,000, making many of these guitars higher-ranking than average Fender Japan models. This ST502 features two humbuckers, unusual for a Stratocaster. Experience the proven Fujigen technology and the mature sound you can only experience today, which explains why Fender and Gibson couldn't resist Japanese-made copycat models!
