Product overview ARIA's legendary "SB" series has been a long-selling staple since its launch in 1979 and continues to be a part of the lineup today. The "SB-100R," which debuted in 1997 but disappeared from the lineup around 2000, is now back in stock! This model replaces the previous "SB-100" and features dot position adjustments and chrome HARDWEAR for a contemporary feel. Of course, the SB is synonymous with a neck-through construction! Its signature thick bass tone, combined with an active humbucker, is a hallmark of the SB. While bolt-on and neck-through SBs became more affordable in the 2000s, even this model, the cheapest at the time, still had a list price of ¥100,000.
