Product overview This 2006 Gibson SG is a symbol of Gibson and a rock icon. Among the "'61 Reissue" models, which recreate the guitar's golden age in 1961, we have a rare example in the limited edition sapphire Blue colorway that was Buy Now in the mid-2000s. It features a small pickguard and a thinly finished mahogany body. Its slim neck profile evokes the era when the Les Paul was replaced by the SG. The key to its sound is the '57 Classic pickups, which recreate the vintage PAF sound. The SG's aggressive midrange is complemented by rich overtones and an edgy tone.
