Product overview This 1985 flagship model marks the dawn of the Ibanez RG series! We have a rare active-powered "RG1200" in stock! Based on the serial number, it was manufactured in December 1985. This top-of-the-line model was part of the "original RG" lineup, a successor to the Roadstar II series, before the current design was adopted. This instrument boasts a bolt-on construction that produces a crisp sound, and a luxurious fingerboard made of premium ebony. Its greatest feature is its standard active electronics. The bridge is equipped with the original "EDGE," a masterpiece of a locking tremolo. This guitar pursues the highest standards of both playability and sound in the 1980s. It is a masterpiece of Japanese vintage that also has exceptional archival value.

The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod and is now almost straight.
