Product overview The 2010 model, the AP, a staple in the ESP bass lineup since its debut in 2000, now has a 5-string model, the AP-SL5! The current AP models are available in long and super long scale (SL) models, with the 5-string model only available in the SL. Featuring AP-model essentials like a super long scale, Seymour Duncan pickups, and a slap switch, its powerful sound shines especially in loud rock. The long scale allows for downtuning! This bass is easy to use and is recommended for bassists with an aggressive style who sometimes want to outdo the frontman!
