Product overview The definitive solid-body guitar of the 1960s, the original "Sharp 5," has arrived! And it's in the rare white color! The "SHARP 5" was created by incorporating advice from Munetaka Inoue, who was very popular from around 1965, and Nobuhiro Mine, the lead guitarist of Sharp Five, and bringing together all of Guyatone's resources. The logo on the pickguard and the truss rod adjustment port on the neck end indicate that this is a 1966-1969 model. (The serial number starts with 66, but it does not necessarily mean it was made in 1966.) The unique features such as the two single-coil pickups with yokes and the dot position inlays are the kind of charm that you can't find in later reissue Sharp 5 Mine models, and are only found in this original model. This is a 60s original Sharp 5, which is rarely available, made before Guyatone went bankrupt. Why not add it to your collection?

Detailed explanation Overall, there are noticeable scratches and dents, tarnishing and rust on the metal parts, paint chips, and discoloration. It is in a condition commensurate with its age. The truss rod is functioning well, with ample adjustment range in both forward and reverse directions.
The neck curvature has been adjusted with the truss rod.
While there are some minor warps and twists throughout, these have been adjusted to avoid any issues during playability. The setup has somewhat mitigated these issues, but slight buzzing may be noticeable depending on playing style. The frets have been leveled and are relatively flat, but this does not significantly affect playability.
