Product overview A very early example of the rebellious 70s Gibson has arrived! Based on the serial number and pot date, this extremely rare "Ripper Bass" is estimated to be from 1970-72! Its greatest weapon is the powerful punch produced by the "all-maple construction" that defies tradition! The thick body, characteristic of this period, emits earth-shattering bass tones and a sharp attack that cuts through the ensemble! Furthermore, the "4-way rotary switch"** allows you to freely control series, parallel, and phase sounds. You can control all the bottom end with this one instrument! Detailed explanation	There are noticeable scratches and dents throughout the item, as well as dullness and rust on the metal parts. It is in a condition appropriate for its age. There are traces of filled screw holes on the back of the body. The original hard case has tears in the leather and signs of tape reinforcement, and is in a considerably damaged condition. We do not recommend carrying this around. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck curvature has been adjusted with the truss rod. There are some small ripples and twists throughout the instrument, but they have been adjusted so that they do not cause any problems when playing. The frets have been worn down and are relatively flat, but this does not affect playing.
