Product overview We've just received the ESP Navigator bass "ESPIONAGE" from the late '70s to early '80s! At the time, the name "ESPIONAGE" was used for both jazz basses and precision basses, and this is a PB-style bass. As ESP accepted custom orders, this model was available in a variety of specifications, and a fretless PB (SP-04) was featured in catalogs from the '70s. This instrument features an ash body in the standard PB style, boasting the meticulous construction and mature tone typical of old Japanese-made basses. Its quality, suitable for any playing style or genre, demonstrates ESP's high level of technical expertise.

The neck curvature has been adjusted with the truss rod, but there is some stiffness. This can be covered to some extent by changing the settings, but you may still notice some buzzing depending on how you play.
