Product overview We have a new JPJ-3 in stock, likely manufactured in the mid-'80s, towards the end of Matsumoku's life! It features PPJ-style pickups, reminiscent of the famous Japanese metal bassist. Few basses before or since have used this style of pickup, making it truly unique. Featuring a classic alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard, the PPJ produces a powerful sound that's a hallmark of this bass. This is a truly hard rock bass that makes you want to play it with one shoulder. With the popularity of Matsumoku in recent years, many of these basses have been exported overseas, and the number of units in circulation is dwindling! Get yours now!
