Product overview We have received a Mosrite-style '1720', a model that boasts a particularly strong individuality and cult following in the early 1970s Japanese vintage market. This is a later model equipped with a toggle switch, which is a practical refinement of the specifications of the early model, and coupled with the global popularity of bizarre guitars and basses, it is a collectible instrument whose value is currently soaring worldwide. The combination of sturdy wood materials made by Matsumoku Industries and a distinctive short-scale design results in a compact and exceptionally easy-to-handle instrument. The sound emanating from the two original single-coil pickups has a warm, rounded, earthy tone, and the edge when distorted is simply superb. Detailed explanation	Overall, there are scratches, dents, tarnishing and rust on the metal parts, and cracks in the paintwork. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck curvature has been adjusted with the truss rod. It's in surprisingly good condition for its age. This can be covered to some extent by changing the settings, but you may still notice some buzzing depending on how you play. The frets have been worn down, but they are still high enough that it doesn't interfere with playing.
