Product overview We've received a 'Standard 24', a model based on the all-mahogany guitars that Paul Reed Smith made even before PRS was founded! It's a sibling model to the flagship 'CUSTOM 24' with a maple top, and was the flagship model when PRS was founded in 1985, bearing the name 'PRS'. It features a tight midrange due to its all-mahogany construction, and a warm, aged tone similar to an SG. Compared to the flashy Custom 24, this model shines with its understated style. It's recommended not only for classic rock styles where you play aggressively, but also for soulful styles where you play sweetly and stylishly! The pickups have been replaced with EMG 89s, and the push/pull volume and tone controls allow you to switch between humbucker and single-coil sounds for the front and rear pickups respectively!
