Detailed explanation	Made in 1983 The YAMAHA SG model, which perfected its current format in the 1970s. Later, in the 1980s, the flagship model of the series, the SG-3000, which was released under the name "CUSTOM", arrived in stock. The YAMAHA SG has one of the most elaborate body structures in the guitar world, with a one-piece structure (known as a through-neck) in which the neck and center piece of the body are carved out of one piece, and a T-cross maple top. This structure, created in response to a request from Santana, provides a sharp attacking response and more powerful, extended sustain. All parts on this instrument have been completely modernized, the pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan SH-2N/SH-4, the body had become cloudy so it was refinished with urethane around 2013 except for the head (the original was wine red), and the frets have been re-cast, but it is in good condition despite its age. This is a superb guitar that has been loved by many musicians and offers the rich, wide-ranging SG sound that is its defining feature. Although there are some slight scratches, there is almost no noticeable damage and it looks relatively clean. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod and is now almost straight. There is a slight amount of wear on the frets, but there is still enough left that it doesn't interfere with playing.
