Detailed explanation	Made in 1991 We have received the G3140 from the HISTORIC SERIES, which was manufactured before Gretsch was revived and became a subsidiary of Fender! This model features an impressive cat-eye hole in its thin body. The pickups are "Dynasonic" single coils, similar to those found on high-end models at the time, and are characterized by a bright, sparkling treble. It's hard to find these days, and there aren't many opportunities to try it, so be sure to get your hands on one now. There is some tarnish/rust on the metal parts. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod and is now almost straight. There is a slight amount of wear on the frets, but there is still enough left that it doesn't interfere with playing.
