Product overview A "maverick" Fender guitar that defies conventional wisdom and is a hidden gem! We've just received the Strat-O-Sonic, a rare mahogany-bodied model from the mid-2000s! Its greatest feature is its Strat-shaped body, but its medium scale length (24.75 inches) and chambered mahogany body, similar to Gibson models. It's truly a miraculous hybrid guitar, boasting the sweetness and firmness of a Gibson's midrange, along with a full, rounded resonance. The previous owner meticulously modified this guitar, refinishing it in gold lacquer. The neck was also repainted in lacquer, and the pickups were replaced with Lindy Fralin P-90s, enhancing the sound's sharpness and chord separation. A rare find on the market, this guitar is a bundle of personality. We confidently recommend it to players looking for a unique Fender!

Detailed explanation	There are scratches, dents, signs of use, and dullness/rust on the metal parts. The body and neck have been refinished with lacquer, changing it to a gold color that is not available in the regular color. Also, due to the neck refinish, the serial number has been removed. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod and is now almost straight. There is a slight amount of wear on the frets, but there is still enough left that it doesn't interfere with playing.
