Product overview We have received a 1980 Les Paul Standard, a guitar that embodies the legacy of the 1980 Les Paul standard! This period is known as the Norlin era, a dark age often referred to as a period of decline due to its quality. However, in 1980, there was a return to the origins, and the pancake body structure was revived to a pure mahogany 1P body. Equipped with "stamped numbered PAFs" crafted by Tim Shaw based on advice from Seth Lover, this instrument is one of the first models to feature them. Perhaps because this was still a transitional period, the neck is a 3-piece maple specification, similar to the 70s. It has the biting blues and rock sound that is unique to this era. Furthermore, this instrument is fully original, in excellent condition reminiscent of a VOS (Vintage Originals) model, and comes with the original rocket case. A guitar that makes you feel the history, this is a guitar that will capture the hearts of Gibson fans.

Detailed explanation	There are some minor scratches, and some tarnishing and rust on the metal parts, but considering its age, it is in relatively good condition with minimal damage. The string inside the included case is broken. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck curvature has been adjusted with the truss rod. High wake-ups are observed. The joint is slightly bent in the opposite direction. This can be covered to some extent by changing the settings, but you may still notice some buzzing depending on how you play.
