Product overview 1999-2002 The JB62G-105US, a non-catalog model that existed from the late 90s to the early 2000s, has arrived! This guitar has a flashy quilted maple top, no pickguard, and gold parts including metal knobs that give it a luxurious feel. The heavy body, maple neck, and dark rosewood fingerboard show no compromise in the wood used. The pickups are made in the USA, and not only the looks but also the sound are of a different quality from the regular models! This is a wild jazz bass that breaks tradition, and it could only be made by Fender Japan!

The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod and is now almost straight. There is a slight amount of wear on the frets, but there is still enough left that it doesn't interfere with playing.
