Product overview The PRO-FEEL series, which replaced the Boxer series in the late 1980s, is now available. We've just received the STR-730, an extremely rare model from that series, produced only for a brief period between 1990 and 1991. This model, unique among the original lineup, features a gorgeous bird's-eye maple top. The "STR-75R" markings on the neck joint and the "E" serial number stamp indicate that the neck and bento-box recessed body are directly borrowed from the STR-75, which was in the lineup until 1989. Equipped with a tap switch, rarely seen on Fender Japan guitars, the EX-Trem allows for flexible arm movements, and the ability to handle everything from clean to distortion, this guitar is recommended for guitarists who want a one-of-a-kind instrument. Note: A crack was found under the fingerboard collar, which has been filled with glue to prevent further cracking.
