Product overview We've just received a JB-style bass from moon, a long-established manufacturer of Japanese guitar components! While details are unknown, it appears to have been built with components in the 1980s or 1990s. The "Custom Built by PGM" sticker on the headstock and body cavity confirms its unmistakable PGM manufacturing. The body features a walnut flattop, a maple neck, and a bound ebony fingerboard. Equipped with Bartolini pickups and a Bartolini TCT preamp, it exudes a studio-like feel and sound from the era. While the specs are similar to the "J-J-175 Walnut" listed in the catalog, there are some differences, such as the non-slant pickups and binding, making it unique and likely a one-of-a-kind piece. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck has been adjusted with a rod and is now almost straight.
