Product overview The unique FERNANDES model, the JG-85S, has arrived! Based on the FERNANDES "JG" series, which debuted in the late '90s, this guitar features a neck-mounted sustainer, the only JG model to feature one. At a time when sustainer-equipped models typically featured a bridge humbucker, a guitar with two single pickups and one sustainer was extremely unusual. The original BRAUN model featured a 32mm mahogany and 10mm maple body, but the subsequent black model features a 45mm alder body, giving it a light, clear, Fender-esque sound. This rock guitar boasts a JG-style, crystal-clear single pickup sound! While a dedicated humbucker is normally required for maximum sustainer effectiveness, this model comes standard with a single pickup, resulting in a milder sustainer effect than standard models.
