Product overview The Modern, a legendary model developed in 1958 alongside the Flying V and Explorer, is now available in 1999. Epiphone's playful "MO BABY" is a revival of this legendary guitar as a mini guitar with a built-in amplifier! The original Modern was patented along with the Flying V and Explorer, and was released under the Gibson brand...or so you might think. However, the Modern is not listed in the catalog, making it a truly elusive model. It was first reissued under the Gibson brand in 1982, and later reissued by Epiphone. This mini guitar was included in the lineup for a short period in the late 1990s. Like the original Modern, which still has a dedicated fan base, the MO BABY also enjoys a secret fanbase. A must-have for mini guitar fans!
