Detailed explanation	Made in 1975 The "L (luxury)" series was the highest grade in Yamaha's acoustic guitar lineup at the time. The 12-string model "L12-5" is now in stock. It has a slotted head on a 637mm scale, and has a crisp attack and a plump sound due to the Scots pine and coral rose body, giving it vintage feel that has been around for about 50 years. At the time, the list price was 50,000 yen, making it the most affordable model in the L series, but when you consider that the starting salary for a college graduate at the time was 86,000 yen, you can see how much of a different class of luxury it was. This is a piece of music that has lived together with the music of those days, such as nostalgic folk songs and 12-string riffs unique to that time. There are some slight scratches and some clouding of the paint, but considering the model year, there is little damage and it looks relatively clean. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The warp of the neck has been adjusted with a rod. Although there are some signs of slight waving and twisting overall, it is in a straight condition considering its age.
