Detailed explanation	A feature of this Nouveau collection is that the body was manufactured in Japan and assembled in Nashville, USA. Like Martin at one time, they were probably trying to achieve Made in USA at low cost. Perhaps for that reason, it was originally created as part of Gibson's lineup, and then moved to Epiphone, but this series disappeared in 1989. This instrument is a full acoustic model with a 16-inch body smaller than the Emperor and a thinner maple body. It has a classic head logo and old Gibson style fingerboard inlays, and the catalog says it has a spruce top and ebony fingerboard. This is a historically extremely rare piece, so why not give it a try? The PU has been replaced with a mini humbucker from Artec, which also handles Seymour Duncan's OEM. There are screw holes at the neck end and wood adhesion due to this. There are scratches and dents throughout. There are some stains on the included case. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The warp of the neck has been adjusted with a rod. Since it is a somewhat old instrument, there are some undulations overall. Depending on your playing style, you may be susceptible to chatter. The frets are slightly worn around the low to middle positions.
