Detailed explanation |
Made in 1978 We have the Mockingbird copy model "MK", one of the models in the "ARIA PRO II LIMITED EDITION" lineup from the late 1970s, in stock now! Although it is called LIMITED EDITION, this does not mean that it was a limited model; rather, it was a top-of-the-line model that was produced by hand with only 18 to 24 units produced. There was the MK-1800WA, a neck-through model with a walnut body and maple sandwiched between it, the MK-1600N, a neck-through model with a maple body and walnut sandwiched between it, as well as lower-end models with different pickups. What's amazing about this model is that it has specs that are close to the original BCRICH, including a maple and walnut neck-through, DiMarzio DP101 Dual Sound, baritone switch, booster, Grover pegs, and ebony fingerboard! Another nice feature is the quality of the craftsmanship that can only be achieved through handmade products. What's more, it is in excellent condition and is a must-have for fans! There are some scratches and dents overall, but considering the model year, there is little damage and it looks relatively clean. There are traces of the strap pin having been reopened. The truss rod works well, and there is plenty of room for adjustment in both the forward and reverse warp correction directions. The neck warp has been adjusted with a rod. Because this is a vintage instrument, there are some small wavy and twisted parts, but they have been straightened with an iron and adjusted so that they do not affect playability. The frets have been worn down. |
